Description[]
Titano is a giant, King Kong-like chimpanzee that is able to shoot green kryptonite beams from its eyes. It is shown being used by Gorilla Grodd (with mind control) for evil purposes, but it is not clear whether it is naturally a bad character.
We are told that, when younger as a normal chimp, it was trained at S.T.A.R. Labs for a space mission, and when in space was transformed into its monstrous form after a collision with a kryptonite asteroid. While training, it had been tended by Harleen Quinzel, and she had been able to calm it by singing to it and giving it its teddy bear. This continues to work with the transformed giant chimp.
