An alien super-villain and a member of the Sinestro Corps.
Description[]
Despotellis is a microscopic creature (said to be a virus elsewhere) with long, thin, angled legs and small body like a spider. Green Lantern tells us that it is "one of the deadliest soldiers from the Sinestro Corps", and it is subordinate but loyal to the leader, Sinestro.
As a member of that corps, it has a yellow 'Power Ring' which is held in a clear sac at one end of its body. It can use this to project constructs like a shrinking cage to crush a victim, but can just assault an opponent with the sharp ends of its legs. Despotellis can assist Sinestro by hiding in his ring to continually recharge it with a microscopic, yellow 'Lantern Battery'.
Although Despotellis' tiny size makes for a difficult target, it can still be attacked from the inside by the Atom who can make himself even smaller.
