Description[]
Parasite has an anthropoid layout (head, body, two arms, two legs) but his appearance is very alien-like (but said to be a mutated human elsewhere) and has an overall purple coloring with white details. Speaking in a rasping voice and moving with dramatic suddenness, he shows disdain for Superman, whom he knows beforehand, and just sees him as a potential victim.
He is referred to as a "superhuman leech" and has the ability to absorb the energy, abilities and powers of others, particularly superheroes. Shooting long feelers or tentacles from his abdomen allows him to make the necessary physical contact.
During such an attack, his eyes glow, and the victim suffers agony with purple streaks appearing on their face. After a period of deprivation, he can restore his own strength by absorbing it from cockroaches. He can also float in the air and climb walls like an insect.
Parasite can be an inmate of Stryker's Island prison.
