History
The Nuclear Family were androids created by Dr. Eric Shanner during the Cold war to the show the side effects of Nuclear Weapons. While they act like a real family, they were unaware they were androids. When the nuclear explosion went off, they survived and absorbed the radiation and escape the rite. After years of searching for a home, they arrived a nuclear power plant and make it their home. Firestorm arrived at the plant to figure out who was causing the attack on the power plant, that's when he saw them. After saying the word: "Robots", the Nuclear Family took him prisoner and placed him in a fuel rod pool.
