The extra-dimensional retreat of Booster Gold.

Description[]

Vanishing Point is said to be "a citadel overlooking both time and space" and is also "outside the space-time continuum", but we are never shown it from the outside. Using the abilities of his suit, Booster Gold can travel to it from anywhere, entering through the large, glowing time portal inside. Anyone not used to such a journey will briefly suffer "chronal nausea".

From the portal, a passage leads to a round hall-like room which appears to have a glass floor.

On one side is a seat and control desk with large displays in front of them from where Booster can monitor time-related matters in order to "protect time".

Additional furniture can be made to rise from the glass floor - like a drawer for storing personal equipment or a Füssball table.

Booster, jokingly calling the place the "Booster Cave", tells us that he built it hinself, and can be assisted there by his hovering droid, Skeets.

Appearances[]

27. Time Out
50. Keeping up with the Kryptonians (mentioned indirectly)

Notes[]

  • Vanishing Point originated in DC's time-travelling, timeline-monitoring stories of the early 1990s when it was home to Rip Hunter and others. It would only pass to Booster Gold much later.
